Ealing Local Info
Local Cleaners Ealing has cleaners based throughout Ealing and is proud to offer quality same-day cleaning services throughout the area. Here’s a little bit about where we live and work:
Ealing is a town in the London Borough of Ealing. It is a suburban district and its postcodes are W5, W7 and W13. Its history goes way back - archaeological excavations have uncovered Iron Age pots in the Horsenden Hill area and settlements have been recorded from the 12th Century onwards, with the church of St Mary's dating back to that time. In Victorian times, the more affluent Londoners started to frequent the area to escape the smoke and smells of the city and Ealing became a town. In turn, roads, schools and public buildings were built and drainage provided. Inns were erected to supply food, drink and a bed for the many passing travellers. Over the years, Ealing Broadway became a major shopping centre and home to the oldest film studios in the world. The BBC ran Ealing Film Studios from 1955 to 1995 and they are still used to this date for the filming of music videos, TV series and most recently the film St Trinians and its sequel.
Ealing has a large Irish and Polish community and hosts over 15 churches and mosques, in addition to Ealing Abbey. It has an excellent road and rail network with the most central rail and tube station at Ealing Broadway.
